Portneuf Health Trust invests in the following areas:

Capital:
Funding for bricks and mortar projects.
Program:
Funding for programs that create the capacity to enhance or promote health in our region.  Operational funding for programs is discouraged.
Equipment:
Funding for acquisition of new equipment.

Application Process:
Because of the lengthy process required to both write and review thoughtful, well-constructed proposals, all requests for funding are completed through our letter of inquiry process.  This process is a much shorter, targeted approach to link our funding priorities with the appropriate projects and programs.  The steps for funding are:

  1. Once our funding cycle is open, submit a completed letter of inquiry (listed below) to Portneuf Health Trust.
  2. Our board will choose a short list of finalists, and conduct site visits to gain a better understanding of the project and organization.
  3. If chosen to move forward, your organization may be asked to give a full proposal to the Endowment Board for a decision.
